Twenty Four ASMI Sisters Profess Final Vows

Cherthala: Twenty Four Junior Sisters professed their perpetual vows at Greengardens, Cherthala on 25 January 2021. Eight of them from Nirmal Mata Province Bhopal, six from St. Joseph Province, Ernakulam, six from Little Flower Province, Warangal and four from Sacred Heart Province, Nagpur. Many of the sisters from different communities were present for the occasion, which added to our joy of witnessing their commitment to the Lord to be an ASMI forever in lifelong service to the Church. Rev. Fr. Francis Christy OFM Cap. celebrated the Holy Mass and received the vows in the name of the Superior General Sr. Celestine Francis. His homily focused on the importance of the sisters being ‘ambassadors of Christ in today’s world after the example of St. Francis of Assisi.’ At the end of the Holy Eucharist, the main Celebrant adorned the Finally Professed Sisters with a crown of flowers and a Lighted Candle. It was a day of great joy and jubilation for the Congregation of Assisi Sisters of Mary Immaculate (ASMI).
