Dedication of the new Annex Building to the Bishop’s House in Chicago Eparchy

Chicago: Mar Jacob Angadiath Bishop of Chicago Eparchy, dedicated the new Annex Building to the Bishop’s House on October 26, 2021. Mar Jacob Angadiath led the dedication prayers along with Auxiliary Bishop Mar Joy Alappatt, Vicar Generals, and other priests.
In his homily, Mar Jacob Angadiath commended all those who envisioned the project and worked diligently to complete it. “We’re not just blessing a building, we are blessing the work that is gone into actually making this a reality,” Mar Angadiath said.

The Annex building project was completed as a monument for Bishop Mar Jacob Angadiath’s 50th year of Sacerdotal Ordination, 20th year of his Episcopacy and 20th year of the establishment of the eparchy.

The new Annex building will host separate rooms for the seminarians, priests, and guests, including a beautiful chapel and other rooms.
