ADILABAD EPARCHY.... TO REACH OUT AND TO  LIFT UP

Adilabad: The timely support of Adilabad Eparchy, helped the poor people of Mallapur village to keep their homes dry during the heavy monsoon. Mallapur is a small village, located in Indervelly Mandal of Adilabad District in Telangana. In the second week of June, the village experienced heavy thunderstorm which carried away the roof of hundreds of huts.

Reaching out to help the people and alleviate their pain, Adilabad Eparchy took the initiative to repair the houses. 510 roofing sheets were required  to re-roof the huts. Benefactors from different parts of the world came forward and joined hands with the Eparchy to relieve the pain of Adivasi villagers.

 Karunya Nidhi, the charitable society of Adilabad Eparchy, distributed roofing sheets to 85 families. The villagers expressed their gratitude to Bishop Mar Prince Antony Panengadan, Fr. Jijo Vettath, Fr. Mathai Velpula, Fr. Amalraj, Fr. Jose Manickathan. Mallapur village is located 28 km  South to Adilabad District head quarters.
